Ingredients | Sweet Potato Pie1 (9 inch) pie shell1 (16 ounce) can mashed sweet potatoes¾ cup milk¾ cup packed brown sugar½ cup light corn syrup2 eggs1 tablespoon butter, melted½ teaspoon salt½ teaspoon ground cinnamon1 pinch ground nutmegDirectionsPreheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).In a large mixing bowl combine sweet potatoes, milk, sugar, corn syrup, eggs, butter or margarine, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Blend with mixer or hand-held beaters until smooth. Pour mixture into pie shell.Place in preheated oven and bake for 10 minutes. Reduce oven temperature to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and bake for an additional 35 minutes, or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
